Tim Munday
I am a PhD student at Nuffield College, Oxford University, studying Economics. I am supervised by Prof. Michael McMahon. I am also a Visiting Academic at the Bank of England.
I am on the Job Market this year and am available for interviews at the AEA meetings and European Job Market.
My work concerns central bank communication strategies. I use machine learning and text analysis tools to evaluate the narrative information central banks publish.
Prior to joining Oxford I completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Cambridge and worked for two years as an economist at Goldman Sachs. Whilst at Oxford I have worked as a research associate on the Econ Ark project, developing tools to solve heterogenous agent models.
